I purchased the precut aluminum mesh gutter guard from lowes. Coated it with the black spray on tool grip. Been on for months now, and the coating has held up well, no resprays yet.

I did mine tonight...very happy with it!

$23 for everything at Lowes. Pulled the sticky off of the squares and used Loctite super glue gel. Black plastic mesh. It took longer to pull the sticky off than to do the mod!

Just installed the Rugged Ridge mesh and love the way it looks. Its held in with 2 metal bars and 4 screws. Pretty easy job, solid and wont come off either. Well worth the $50, so if you spend $20 at Lowes, its not much more and looks like OE since the mesh is formed to fit in the slots and can be done in 20 minutes.

Radio shack had very similar ones. I will try Lowes so I can get a bigger zip tie into it.

i did this mod over the weekend, metal mesh from home depot, painted it black and zip tied it on. it's held up great so far, had to pick out a huge dead bee today. about $25 dollars and it looks like the brand name stuff!

I'm towards the end of finishing this mod up myself. Didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped for me. I tried using Rustoleum Undercoating instead of just regular black spraypaint. DON'T DO IT! This stuff would not dry for anything. It stayed tacky and kept peeling off when I tried to touch it even though I let it dry inside my house for an entire day. Turned what should have been a few hours project into a full day and a half, and I wasted $5 on a stupid can of undercoating. I sprayed satin black regular spray paint over the top of the undercoating and let it sit overnight. It seems to have worked. We'll see if it holds up. I have a bad feeling I might end up buying new gutter guard and just doing it over with regular spray paint and a good primer.

I used animal screen from Lowes. It is a vinyl matetial. Once taught with zip ties, i think it looks terrific.

I even mounted my EZ pass behind it and it is unseen and works great!

Ditto. I used gate mesh from Lowe's, already black, needed no paint. I ended up using the sticky clips from Radio Shack, 18 of them. And tie wire. BEEF! Also did this to my Tacoma with the same mesh. I hate bugs between the fins!
