Story:
My 2011 JKUR has become what people know me for back home in FL. I try my hardest to get to the rocks and away from our sand and mud. I spend my time between deployments working on it and I spend my time away thinking about what I want to do to it. Last year I got invited to the JK Experience in Oregon and Washington (Note the required stickers in some of my photos). It was a great trip and I saw what you can do with these Jeeps. My build is stalled while I find out how I want to take the next step. At some point in the future I plan on swapping the motor, junkyard tons and coilovers. I have done all the work so far, by myself or with friends, minus the gears and I look forward to the big project.

Neo1130

Mods: Teraflex 2.5" BB lift, Rugged Ridge XHD Modular Bumper with Smittybilt X20 Gen II 10k winch, Cragar Soft 8 17" wheels and 315/70/17 Goodyear Duratracs

Story: Thought I could get away with a 2009 JK Rubicon 2 door and a family of 4. Well, it was doable but not practical with vacations and small trips to the store. Also had metal shavings in the 2009 due to the infamous 3.8L oil consumption issues that reared it's head pretty quick with 70k miles. So on 6/7/2015 we were off to the dealership (Campbell's Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Chehalis, WA - Best dealer in the NW!) to buy my 2015 JKU Sport. Has factory 3.73 gearing with limited slip. Once the kids are out of daycare for the summer, the mods shall begin!

Mods: AEV 2.5" Dualsport Lift, Ion 171 Rims, General Grabber AT2 (315/75/16) tires (or TOYO Observe GSI-5 in the winter - 285/70/17), ACE Engineering Rock Sliders, Rubicon 10 A Front Bumper, Dirty Dog Sunshade, Grabars, Off Road Heros Combo Top, KC Highlights LED Headlights

Story: No long story this time, you all know how it goes! Jeeps are fun and get me around for crawling, mountain biking, camping, and general mountain / prairie time. First picture is (shiny and new) an awesome mountain drive up Maligne Lake Road near Jasper, Alberta a couple weeks ago. There was 20 cm of snow and we beat the plow up (lots of 4WD that trip!). Second picture is Coming up a chute on Poison Spider Mesa, and the final picture is immediately before dropping down "The Fall" on Steelbender.

And Away We Go

Good Luck To All

70% of all new Jeep orders in 2007 were for the 4dr. Trend never really went away I guess.

I needed room for my Great Dane but I can't lie about getting jealous everytime I see a nice 2dr, esp a stretched one.
