Mattman - most impressive! I attempt to make all of those mods - and the wife is going to leave me! I will have to attempt "stealth mods"! Ha! Any chance you can take a pic of where you mounted the CB?

Thanks - great thread!

The CB is all on the Mic. There is just a little box mounted under the glove box.

I will go take a couple more pictures in a little bit

today we got our first big rain since I put the soft doors on. The only door that leaked was the driver door and it leaked all over the seat

I adjusted it some more and I think I fixed the problem though

So I took the tire and carrier off the back of my jeep a few days ago and noticed that my tailgate has dents from the carrier! It only had the rubi spare on it too. The metal on the JKs are thin...

get you one of these:

smittybilt src rear bumper w/ carrier

(don't mind the fact that the spare isn't on there...damn rubi rim backspacing)

CB mic

Where did you get the mount for the CB mic?
How did you install it? Did you take apart the front console?

everything for the CB is from cooltech..

I highly recommend them. I had to take the trim pieces off around the radio. It is really easy to do and only takes a couple minutes

I have looked at the smittybilt because of the price but I really don't like the looks of it at all. I will be getting the LOD rear bumper and carrier soon

Did you look at or give any consideration to the Rockhard rear bumper setup?

This is now my favorite because of the functionality and options.
