I still need to set it all up. I am not really sure how. It just makes loud fuzzy noises now. I think I will go to a CB shop and have them set it up for me because I am CB illiterate
I think that fuzzy noise was why I did the pipe insulation in the hinge holes. The hose on the bar was for the flapping noise. Maybe you don't have that though

By the way the Jeep looks great.
can I fly you out to play with my door

I am not the most patient person as you can probably tell by my jeep

I am talking about fuzzy coming from the CB not the door

I am not very good at stringing together words so most of what I say may not make any sense

I have been thinking this weekend and I might give into something I hate.

I think I might get a 1" body lift. It will lift my fenders some out of the way and stop some rubbing. I was also thinking about getting a BL to add a little clearance for some kind of belly up skid so I crawled under the jeep and the skids under the JK actually look like good skids. I was impressed.

My bank account is almost cleaned out so I might sell a few guitars to fund some more of my jeep build

you both are silly if you don't go w/ the daystar body lift. ...found mine on ebay for 1/2 the price. they're the best BL out there, imo.

yeah I just can't stand the look of them. The added fender clearance sure would be nice though....

I like the M.O.R.E. body lift the best and it is a little cheaper...

but every BL says works or 07-08 did they just not change it to 09 or did something change?

dont' think so...

...dude, seriously, though...the daystar "pucks" support the whole of the original body mounts as if they came from factory and they do not require those steps of knocking crap off and replacing fblah blah from the original body mount (allows you to go back to original if you wanted).

checkout this link for step for the m.o.r.e >>> http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-write-...ation-write-up

yeah I looked at that writeup for the m.o.r.e. one.

I do like the sound of supporting everything instead of just circle pucks.

The daystars seem like they are about double the price of the m.o.r.e ones though.

and bunkrdfool most people probably can't notice a body lift but I can notice it even when it is only an inch and I just think it is hideous.... but we will see I might get one once my bank account gets a little more money in it.
