I don't even like body colored flares or hardtop. This would probably be way too much for me.

Those wheels look bad enough without matching, IMO.

Don't worry about it. A lot of the replies here are off topic and sometimes hateful. Take it for what it's worth.

So the OP ask if anyone has painted
A specific wheel, and the only three people that bothered to reply said basically 'don't do it, it will look bad', and that's hateful and off topic?

Take a picture, photoshop the rim colors to match and go form there.

I have seen wheels at 4wheelparts.com that where pain matched they only cam in crush, gecko green, black but they looked bad ***. as far as the stock wheels go as others have posted Jeep just does not have the flair for design and they would look horrid look at these 2012 stocks painted and you decide.

Not starting a pissing match, but since I haven't painted 2013 wheels I wouldn't post on a thread asking about painting 2013 wheels. I generally keep opinions to myself unless asked upon.

Since you ask, (and again) IMHO, they are 'ok' in black, as you can't see most of the detail. In grey, they look like a bad hubcap; they remind me of the wheels that came on the bad hot wheel knock-offs that you used to get in the bulk pack of variety stores.

I think painted, they could only look worse.

Ultimately, what matters most is if you like them!

I actually like the wheels. The matching color thing just isn't my style.

Me either, but do you really think he was looking for a simple 'yes' or 'no' response?

I read the OP's question as 'what would it look like?', as opposed to 'how do you?'- and thus open to opinion.
