Well, I was only considering it when I thought all you needed was the standard $200 kit... It wouldnt be worth it for a grand

And honestly, I dont know enough about mechanics to really be able to argue with any of you on the subject... it just seemed to make since to me because of the stuff I had read and my common knowledge (read stupidity). As far as Im concerned now, I wouldnt put manual lockers in unless I was already building custom axles... And that feat is no where close to anything I plan on doing in the near future.
