Making your orange turn signals clear?

How do you strip the orange color off the lens of the stock turn signal lenses? I love the look on darker color rigs, just wondering if anyone knows how to get it off. Id prefer not to spend 50 bucks on the kit, so I wont. I know theres a way, so someone tell me!

The plastic is usually colored so you can't "strip" away the amber.

You can use the spray tint by VHT to darken them for cheap.

Just get orange bulbs.. I think it's only illegal if you don't change the bulb color with it
