i was wondering how much up you'd have before you'd smack that truss on the floor. looks great man!

Yup luckily the rear truss doesnt limit uptravel much as with 40s and the extra i cut of the comp corners it still will be damn close

Well i got to take a fellow new york jeeper from jkforum out and show him a little bit of what farmington has to offer. In our couple hour trip we managed to bend his drag link on just 33s and also flaten down his exhaust pipes, along with a few scratches along the way. It was a great time and i was glad to show him the area even though my rigs still down! No pictures on my end, but i know hes got some go pro footage and a few pics. It was a good getaway for yesterday, but today now i need to try and get my rig standing i cant stand not wheeling my own rig...

Well rear shocks are in....Mounted them a little different than i planned, and may lose an inch of uptravel for now and cut extra of the body for this setup, but down the road depending where my bumps finally set in after the testing i may move the upper mount down some to regain that little bit.

Would have it standing but realized one of the tires im borrowing is not on the bead and I have no air here.... Will have to run somewhere and get it aired up then stand this pile...

Just wondering but if you lost up travel, won't moving the upper shock mount down cause you to lose more up travel?

nope. at full bump i will still have about 2" shaft showing, id prefer 1/2-1" to be on the safe side, so me lowering the upper mount by about an inch would leave me where i need to be at full bump. I lost uptravel not to clearance, but to the shock position. I have to test yet to know exactly where itll be, and i may be even be able to remove a little bumpstop to makeup for it depending how far into my corners my tires get...

Heres a quick pick of it standing, and with the shocks charged up. Still need to play with ride height and get it all level but will probably wait until i get the correct tires. These are on 37 irocks that measure out to 35... So with 40s it wont look like such a big lift... This ride height is about 4-4.5" lift
