We’ve been wheeling for several years and all the kids have TJs and I have nicely built 6-speed Rubi LJ. Wife’s arthritis was making it hard for her to drive the stick so we got an automatic 2013 JK Unlimited Rubicon. Being new to the JK scene I spent 4 months researching and ordering parts and then about 2 months building. This JK is amazing and I’ve had a blast breaking it in for the wife, and breaking it. Broke the front driver’s side axle shaft on my last trip out. Time get some chromoly shafts installed.
Future mods include building up to be able to run 37s, sports cage, half doors.
Mods: Off Road Heros Combo Top, Rubicon Express 2" Leveling kit
Story: Ever since I first saw Jurassic Park (I was 1 when it came out) I knew I needed a Wrangler. I oogled them every year in Moab (there for mountain biking) and read this forum all the time. In May the opportunity finally came up where I had enough money so I went for it! Now having a blast and learning all the time on JF and from local guys too. This goes perfect with the love of photography, camping and the outdoors! How about a vote for the little Jeep!! (Oh and sorry, no name yet, still have to figure that out)
Mods: 2.5" AEV Dualsport XT w/ Bilsteins, Rock Krawler Front Track Bar, 35x12.5R15 BFG KM2, 15x8 Black Level 8 Trackers, Bushwacker Flat Fender Flares w/ rear LED, Cobra 75 WRST w/ 4' Firestik, Spiderweb Shade, Fire extinguisher, B&M Transmission Cooler, Mesh Grille, Solid Diff Covers F&R, Bestop Trektop, 10A Front bumper & Rock Sliders, Home-made Trunk Cover
Story: Ive owned two grand cherokees, and by far my favorite rig to wheel was my WJ. Went in pretty deep with that project, and then came by a sweet deal on a JK. Ive owned this Jeep for about 6 months and am working my best to do things right on my JK. So far I love every bit of it, if only my bank account were larger.. but earning your mods makes the end result more satisfying
There we have it!
 Another great show to help round out the year
Nice Rig Maertz
