Pretty sure this is in my near future. Will fit behind my rear seat of my 2 door and under my 5 gallon air tank. This will allow me to keep my rear seat and free up the under carriage...

here is the temporary filler location. once i get the fuel cell that will go behind my rear seat. I should be able to keep the rear seat no problem...

I did sell my front/rear bumper also. so will be ordering fuel cell soon. also ordered up the sheet steel to make the corner armor myself...the steel cost. $78 and with nutserts and all should be under $100

Heres a crappy pic without the front bumper. Will also be cutting the frame down this weekend...

I want as close to 90 degree departure/approach as i can. no way id want an lj or 4 door jk...if i went another way itd be a yj or tj. although our local here has an lj and just finished 10th in the hammers, so they can be damn good still, just not my style i love the tires looking out by the bumpers.

I always like space haha

Stretched 2 doors though..

What are you gonna use to cut and bend the rear quarters?

i dont think ill have to bend much, and i will be cutting with a jig saw and grinder. making 4 sheets total and welding the rear piece to he side piece where they meet if that makes sense. still have to see how it will line up though.

Yeah that seems right, what gauge metal are you using?

11 gauge wich is 1/8. storage on the 2 door is a pain ill give it that. i have a dog and when we off road a ways away and camp we bring him. thats why im keeping the seat. Also will be building some kind of bolt on rack, but no idea even on a plan for that yet..

Hah yeah I dont usually need all my space all the time, but when I do its really nice. Sometimes I carpool with guys at work and they have their tool bags, tools and anything else and that backseat and the cargo area is very handy. Id like a rack someday, it will be interesting to see what you come up with. Id get a rack but the parking garages just take that desire away :/
