Jeep Wrangler HIDs Jeep Wrangler HID Kits Headlight Conversions Xenon Bulbs
not sure if this would work for a JK but this is pretty much one of the top HID companies.

I thought the JK stock lighting wiring harness couldn't support the amp draw of these lights?

im not a JK owner, so i wouldnt know. i just know that that site makes top quality HID lights. i know they do have conversion kits(75 DOLLARS) for high and another 75 for low, so idk if that changes the amp draw.

Would you replace the fog lights with matching color, 6-8K, or get the 3K or keep stock?

I have changed the driving lights to Hella units to work with stubby bumper. I would like all HID up front and need them all to match. Delta makes some nice looking units but I do not see headlights. Two tone front lights would look tacky so I am looking for a total package if possible or at least same temp range. Thanks for any help.

Follow the link above that skier posted, select jeep wrangler, then select "buy now" This is where you choose your model year and kit - they have lows only (you lose hi's), or you can choose bi-xenon to keep low and hi, for $179.99, and for an additional $79.99 you can buy fogs that match

i believe the Xenon lights are also the ones in my dad's BMW...if they are, they are amazing. No doubt in my mind these are the perfect lights. They literally turn night into day. If they fit in your JK, and you want top quality, these are the way to go. I would recommend the 6000K. That's what most people have.

I have a JK with HID headlights and LED fog lights. I love it, there is no comparison between the halogin bulb and the HID.

Also consider the Truck Lite LED headlights, which are DOT / FMVSS108 approved.

Any HID headlight installed in a typical housing will likely void the DOT approval, which isn't a show stopper, BUT, in many cases they become very hard to adjust so as to not blind other drivers.... this is because a typical factory or aftermarket housing was not designed for the amount of light put out by an HID, only the replacement style bulb is was intended for.

I had HIDs and IPF housings in my TJ. They were very difficult to get adjusted, there was so much light, it scattered everywhere.

Truck Lite LEDs:

I went with Truck Lite LEDs on my JK - they were plug and play and didn't require a bunch of extra underhood doo-dads like balasts, extra wire bundles, etc. (which seem to be hard to find room for in JKs)

Just mentioning this as another option to consider.

My buddy installed the xenon 8700's on his '12 am has nothing but problems. I wanted to get them last year when I got my JK, an went to a couple local performance shops and both told me not to bother. The only ones that are half decent are the same ones that go on BMWs, which about 800. Almost went with truck lite's LED but instead I'm saving up for the JW Speaker. Just my opinion tho
