Looking for advice about a Best top Trek top

So I found a Trek Top on good ol' Craigslist for $350.00 according to the guy it's like new, just used for one summer.

My concern is he is acting a little weird about the whole deal, makes me wonder if something is wrong with it that he is not letting on about.

I'm wondering if someone who has experience or knowledge of them would help me out. Are there any peices or straps I need to look for that have been known to break or make the top not work? I'm going to look it over really well to make sure nothing is wrong with it.

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome and thanks in advance!!

Mine was around $500 brand new so $350 seems reasonable for a used one.
