Awesome. Don't let the soccer moms discourage you - tire shine and wax can't be put on linex! :P

Love it.

Does the top still seal?

I did that to an Amigo once upon a time, but only went halfway up. It was a great mod. Mine was nearly 1/4" thick and essentially served as exoskin.

The idea is cool, but the concept is a pain in the ***. Wait till it's a few years old. Every Line-X vehicle I have seen (XTRA included) always ends up looking faded, dull, dirty, or all of the above,

Very cool indeed. But I'm also curious if the top will still seal and if it does, how the weather stripping will be affected. I guess you're not worried about a few drops of water though.

But its your rig do what you want with it, just please keep that thing forever so no one else has to be cursed with it.

Seriously though, bed lined suspension? If it wasn't DIY, the shop that said it was OK to do that should be smacked.

Just did the metal non of the plastics were touched. Every 5 years you get it re-sealed and it should maintain. It has no leaks either.
