limited slip rubi?

JP magazine mentions that the JK rubicon rear is open when not locked. Does anyone know if the front axle is open or LS when not locked?

Also, does anyone know if they use any kind of front axle disconnect when not in 4wd?

I think the last time Jeep used a 4WD system with a front axel disconect was 1992.

Just making sure they didnt bring this back to get another mpg.

Both front and rear are "open" when not locked. But with ESP they both act like limited slip when needed.
