lights wont come on

Went to drive to work this Am and my headlights wont come on. The running lights and tail lights come on but no headlights. Has any one else had this issue?

Have you checked all the related fuses? Do you have power at the bulb sockets? Is there a relay in that circuit? (I assume so but I'm not as familiar with the JK wiring).

Start with the fuses and a test light/multi-meter to see where you do and don't have power. Good Luck!

Batterie voltage is 12.46 with out the engine running 14.8 with engine running. This tells me the batterie and alternator are good. The fuse is good as the lights will blink. In my experiance once a fuse go on and off. The relay is a possibility. I was wondering if this is one of the funky electrical issues that are common among Jeeps.

There are no fuses for our lights, they are controlled by a highside driver from the TIPM.

Get a test light & flip the TIPM over & check the C3 connector ( it's green ) & check pin 3 ( white wire/ dark blue tracer ) for power. Thats your left low beam. If theres no power when turned on, more then likely the TIPM has an issue or the multifunction switch.

Does your high beam indicator come on in the cluster? If it does, that usually means the switch is working right.

What is the TIPM? Is that the relay module? I have the high beam indictator ligh on the dash. So that means the TIPM is working correctly?

Thanks
