Ok I'm trying to convince the wife a v8 would help on the fuel mileage a bit. Plus give me the umph to take it a bit further on upgrades

I just meant I didn't do large rocks and 4wd the whole time. Got to drive 40 on the trail, that usually never happens. It was kind of pleasant. Some of the places I go take 4 hours to go 2 miles.

I'm not a subscriber to the hemi craze...just not necessary for most applications. It'd be LS for me, anyway.

That's what I've been looking at. Something along the lines of the 5.3 or the 4.6 should do just fine.

Waste of money, seriously...the $10-15k minimum you spend on engine, trans, wiring harness, ecu, etc. (Minimum) can buy a lot of fuel. Then you start grenading axles and need to swap to tons, driveshafts, etc.

If you got money to burn, go for it...but your "fierce attitudes" tell me otherwise

Haha not running fierce attitudes boss. Got the best tires money cab buy "falken" its what the wife bought. I'm balling on a budget bro.
