I'm running 18" wheels... There is a big difference in price due to that... But still, you got a good price! The fierce attitudes are supposed to be really long lasting road use... So that's really all I cared about

Ahhh, yeah that 18" wheel will do it. Limited in tire selection because of that too.

Pretty light day of offroading yesterday, but my Jeep ended up pretty muddy.

Yeah that was one of my mistakes. My wife got me the wheels and tires. She picked 18's. Nice looking wheel just an inch bigger than I would have preferred.

Yeah my wife in general bought the jeep for me. She's pretty awesome. Except she doesn't want me off-roading any just yet. Wants to wait until we're closer to pay off. I agree with her on it to an extent. Don't want to pay for the jeep and pay for repairs on top of it. Pay off next year then its time to run a muck in every backwoods trail I can find and make

"Off roading" is relevant...find some local "beginner" trails. Dirt paths back through the woods, shallow water crossings, etc. It doesn't have to be extreme to be fun.

Pack a cooler and take the wife out for the day, shell probably have as much fun as you.

If you treat the repairs as upgrades it hurts a little less. Once you upgrade something it is way less likely to break.

I'm still looking for some trails around here that she'll have fun on. I end up running an extra 100 miles a week taking the back roads through ft hood to find easy trails she'll enjoy.
