They are local to Tucson. I actually met them thru some guys on a AZFJ forum run. Those pictures were taken at Chimney Rock. They seem to offroad those things pretty regularly.

Have a general question about the "stinger" on front bumpers. Besides looking cool as heck, is there a practical reason to have one? Still new to offroading and jeeps, so I'm still learning.

It will help to deflect branches and animals from hitting your grill and maybe damaging your radiator. It will slow down a front rollover and maybe put you on your side instead. Good place to mount a go pro or some lights if you are into that kinda thing. I hope I never have to use it to stop me from rolling forward onto my roof, but its there in case. In a front end collision where you nail the person in front you will likely damage the vehicle or its occupants and teach them a lesson for driving in front of you.

2.5" RE lift, updated bumpstops, much longer shocks. 3" up travel, 11" down. Does pretty well I wheel it regularly at Browns Camp-Oregon

that doesnt make any sense. you cant have more vertical suspension travel than what the shock allows. what shock is it running. the only bolt in shock that allows 14" of vertical travel is the metalcloak 6pak

id also like to know how you're fitting a shock with 21" of collapsed length onto a JK with 2.5" of lift and still claiming 3" of up travel. fitting that size of a shock on a JK is not "bolt in"

Shock mount brackets May have been slightly moved. Not much. However, there are many shocks out there that have travel like that besides the metal cloaks. Don't be one of those guys. The one that on all the other jk forums they make fun of for jumping to conclusions immediately. Be cool. Chill out a little.
