Yes, 2.5" lift... Tires are 295/70-18, which translates to 34.6x11.5. Almost 35" and an inch narrower than typical 35's.

I ended up going with a Pro Comp spring lift with Bilstein 5100 shocks. Very pleased so far. Best I could tell, basic 2.5" lifts like this don't differ much and the shocks you use make the biggest difference in the ride quality. It's a stiffer ride for sure, but much better than stock. Between the stiffer ride and the bigger heavy tires you are able to tell where all of the expansion joints are in the road... LOL.

First time on the highway with the trail grapplers it was obvious the JK was struggling to get up to and maintain highway speed. I was thinking re-gear was inevitable. However, when I got home I plugged in my AEV Procal module to calibrate for the larger tires and stock 3.73 gearing. I took it back out on the freeway again and it was night and day better! Pretty much right back to the way it was before the bigger tires... Still underpowered but no more than it was before. So for the time being I think I'm good to go without re-gearing.

Yes! The LOD's were removed a week or so ago and these put on. I was not confident I could drill/tap my frame with a recently fractured wrist.

So far I like the Smitty's. They had to grind the holes out a bit to get em to fit but the seem really solid.

I like that they bolt on to the body bolts and there is no need to grind off the rivet at the pinch seam. They don't require you to drill into or screw into the pinch seam either so that also drew me to them.

I would have preferred the LOD's be properly mounted but no shop near me would repair the broken bracket and install for what I paid for these. I don't regret my purchase at all. Oh, another feature I wanted was a step area so the wife and others could climb up easily and these accomplish that.
