Can we get a consensus here about 2dr driveline issues? Many threads warn that after 3", all hell breaks loose if you don't address the increase in shaft angle and trade up to better driveshafts, and add adjustable trackbars, brakelines, etc. This thread has posts from some that run up to a whopping 4.5" with OEM shafts. Has anyone here, with over 3", not swapped out their shafts and had any driveline problems because of it?

I've got 2.5" Rough Country Springs and shocks, and aside from longer links in the front, I've not touched the suspension. No vibrations, no steering issues. I don't wheel, and would love to add another half inch but not if I'm heading for a world of problems...

I'm running 35s, a 3.5" Black Diamond with Rancho shocks, OEM shafts (ripped off the rubber boot on the front shaft). After 5000 miles and some moderate offroading no issues at all. it rides better than stock.

Jesus..that's tempting. Still wondering whether I should pop a 3/4" spacer in my 2.5" setup and get that tracbar.

I got a question. I want to get the RE 3.5 Extreme Duty LA kit. With this kit will I need to change out drive shafts? I don't think I would mind having to do so as long as it is not needed right away. Re-gearing and lockers would be preferred right after the lift.

im running 35x12's, 4.5" lift, over 30k miles and drive/wheel it hard (think rental car)....no probs to date with the drive shaft.
