Yes, it's the RC BB spacer kit. The install was EXTREMELY easy. All you need is a few metric wrenches, jack stands, and a hydraulic jack.

The rear sway bar end links are exactly the right size for the front. I made my own rear end links from steel threaded rod and heim joints (1/2"-20, 11-3/4" long center to center).

Thanks guys! Gotta get the KC's to work now. Ran all the necessary wires and nothing.. went over the damned instructions a dozen times. Light switch glows, but doesn't trigger relay. Well, there's always next weekend.

The lightbar is MBRP, quite easy to mount, weighs in at around 15 pounds, and comes with light mounts and entry/exit holes to run the wiring. It's a cheap thrill that beefs up the front end looks a bit.

Dealer states, "The bumper does not have to be removed for installation. Each unit is powder coated black. This is a "no drill" install that takes 30 minutes using common hand tools." Well, I consider myself mechanically inclined but it still took me an hour and a half.

Any tips to share on that install? I'm going to do one in a few weeks. Been looking at that light bar since I got my Jeep and found them about 25% cheaper than MBRP direct on ebay...

Doc, Your jeep looks great. I have the same color in an 09 X and have like you been reading with interest about what wheel size and tire size to choose. I agree the Pintler 17x8 and Duratrac is the best choice and beefs the jeep up. The 35's look awesome and I will get there one day, but am looking at getting the 285/70/17 because I might not get the lift right away and I dont want to deal with rubbing issues. Also my ratio is 3.21 and I am worried about weight and regearing. Did you lose any power with that tire size?

Left you a private message regarding light bar install, Matt. I wanted to stay with the "lift" theme of the thread.

Thanks for the compliment, stuckmehere. I lost a bit of passing power with the wheel size, but not enough to bother me. The ride is much smoother now that I have less wheel, and more tire/air. The duratracs are very smooth and actually ride better than my BFGoodrich OEM's. I do notice that just as the wheels are harder to get moving, they're also harder to stop. Gullies in the asphalt along highways also seem to pull my ride a bit left and right compared with thinner tires. My antilock brakes had a hard time stopping me when the lady in front of me panicked and went into a skid. I give good distance now with that in mind. Of course, less people cutting in front of me now that the Jeep looks bigger, also gotten a number of thumbs up from other jeepers.

One real issue was that I needed to cut an inch of the black plastic splash guard under the front bumper due to wheel rub at full lock. It's an 1/8" thick and not important so cutting the edge was easy as 1-2-3. No problem now. Notice however, that when the rear wheels are compressed such as at the following incline, the tires scrub the fender edges. Hope this isn't common. I'm running 315/70/17's (34.4") Duras on 2.5" coil springs. Maybe you'd run 3" lift to avoid this.
