Lift question

Can anyone out there help me figure out how to lift my jeep and eliminate or minimize the play I get in the steering system? I'm not looking to lift any higher than 4" but it seems that both the 2.5 & 3.5 lifts I have used before create a lot of play in the steering. Should I seek a higher quality kit or change the steering stabilizer location?

Asking cause I don't know, what yr. is your jeep and what lift kits did you have before and were they on the jeep you have now?
Maybe it's not the lift. It could be ball joint or Tie rod ends causing what you're feeling.

what size tires do you have? A new steering stabilizer might be useful if you have much larger tires, but thats about it.
