No but I was at the Harley dealer the other day and saw some small LED lights that are made to go on a bike. I was thinking aobut getting some (come in package of two) and putting one under each side of the dash and wiring it into the dome light. The lights also come in several different colors, I was thinking about red since my Jeep is red.

the DIY autoparts shops also have LED's of various colors to do the same thing.

I did these in the dash. They are wired to dim with the light dimmer switch. They were like $7 at the autoparts store. They help a LOT!! Just enough light inside to see things on the console, cup holder area.

That is always my goal. They work seemless. Just come on with the headlight switch, dim with it. Looks factory at night. (and I love the red from my Audis)

Any chance of build info? How'd you get them to dim?

Go look in the "tuner" section of your local pep store. There are a half dozen styles of lights in several colors. Zone, Advance and Oreilly's/CSK will carry a smaller set but should still have a style or two

Has anyone put strip LED under each part of the dash. Like underneath the overhang of each section?

How can we put this in so it goes on off with the vehicle? Can we wire this directly to the outlet that turns off and on?
