I was referring to the harness that comes with kit. I had an sPod already in my Jeep. If I was to use the kit's harness I'd put the switches on the A pillar. If you have a pre 2011 (2007-2010) you could mount the switches by the speaker.

I have the Rugged Ridge switch pod. Fits pretty nicely, not perfect

Is there a less expensive alternative to the spod that is still of acceptable quality and performance. Seems like 400 plus dollars is a bit salty for a couple of switches.
