Just took a bunch of JK pics for you to drool over

How'd you like to see a bunch of pics of a blue steel JK Unlimited Sahara?

or a silver JK Unlimited Sahara?

or a red rock JK Unlimited X with a soft top?

or a rescue green JK Unlimited X?

or even a few of a black JK Unlimited Sahara:

Well then, click on the link below and check them all out at the Project-JK.com gallery!

Maybe I will change my mine once I actually see one in person, but I do not like the looks of the new JK and I am glad I went ahead and bought my 2006 TJ.

My thinking was the TJ was not going to be made anymore and I could always trade for the JK later if I like it, but I don't. I like the steering wheel though.

Anyone else agree?

I agree, I am very happy I have my TJ and have no desire to get a JK. Although my dad will probably be getting one. There are things I like about the JK and things I don't. Overall I think it's a good looking and functional vehicle, but those huge a** bumpers have to go.

Pictures very unexciting. Taken from angles to "accentuate the positive and decentuate the negative". Thanks tho.

I think I just found my TJ's replacement.

I want the Rubicon version of this in a 2 door (might change my mind once I test drive a 4dr).

Is this the same steel blue that was used in the late 90s early 00s? Patriot Blue is still my favorite shade of blue, but I really like that lighter slate looking blue that was used on the 97s to (?). Black looks great with that color.

EDIT: I don't know why the link is not showing as an image

I'm happy with my '06 as well, and I'd wait a couple of years anyway with any new design. The Sahara is not too bad. I like the painted fenders. But I'm curious how the painted and non-painted will look after some trails? They just look like their going to get scratched. My fenders on my '06 already show scratches, but fortunately their not as big as on the JK.

Perhaps DC has reasons to be resentful about the Jeep and what it implies. I guess the JK might have political overtones that make DC feel quite nationalistic. JK's at grocery stores are more politicaly correct than TJ's climmbing ravines and riding like buckboards. Jeeps are American and they are insurmountable. We love them. They are AMERICAN. What is this 4 door 2 WD nonsense. It really angers me.

Oh, yeah, of course.

Germans had made great 4x4s during and after the war. I would take a Gelaendewagen over Jeep any day, sorry guys. Too bad they only have the upmarket version of it around here. And not a convertible..

Most popular 4x4s around the world are Defenders, Patrols, G-wagens, Land Cruisers (they still make them with SFA outside of U.S). Jeep is a very, very nice brand, and the new JK is great, but not that special as you make it sound.

P.S. Mmm.. G-wagen..

The one pic almost resembles a square PT Cruiser.

They aren't that bad, I want to see more 2 doors though... still not liking the 4 doors.

I agree. The Unlimited is nothing more than a grocery getter with a Jeep grill. I was never a fan of the TJ, but I'll take a TJ over a JK.
