Nope its all the same Jeep.

Even has "diesel fuel only" gas cap which I'm pretty sure makes mine a collectors item

Pretty Jeep and wife!

How is the Unlimited with child seats? Have one now and hopefully more. (One jeep GCs and one kid, maybe I should have a Jeep per kid, hummm.) The rear doors seem small to me, like they might make getting a rug rat in and out a bit tough.

Here's a pic I took of the rear seats of my unlimited I got last week. The doors are not huge, but they are sufficient for the task of getting a child seat in. The pic was taken with the driver's seat all the way back and reclined a few notches (I'm 6'4"). Kids were the reason I traded in my TJ for the JK (although mine are out of their child seats now).

Thanks,

My wife isn't beleiving me that the U-JK has almost as much room as my GC. From the stats onteh Jeep website, all the dimensions are pretty close.

How is the ingress, egress with the rear doors? They look small and narrow?

Mark

The doors aren't huge but I have had several adults get in and out with no problems.

I have both the Grand and the JK. It's hard to describe why, but to me the JK feels bigger in the rear seats and smaller in the front seats than the Grand. Sometimes the stats don't describe perceptions.

No problem with car seats, and once they are in boosters, its a breeze.

We really love it as a family ride

Great looking vehicle, Cipro. Good luck with it. Good to see your wife and infant in a child seat enjoying the JK. It is going to take awhile to make people realize that the 4 door Wrangler is an appropriate option for families with young kids. Nice to have a vehicle that has enough room, good safety and some cargo space to accommodate a family. But its still a Jeep and has the top-down potential and off-road chops that you don't get with the other mid-size Utes everyone drives.

Took me 6 months to convince my wife, but I ordered the exact same vehicle as yours last week. My 3 kids (3,6,and 9) are thrilled and were part of my sales pitch to my wife (my three year old screams everytime he sees a Wrangler - "look Daddy, a Jeeeep").

Keep us posted as you guys use it if you discover anything good or bad as a lesson.
