Just got my Hard Rock!

Here it is! Took 4 weeks. Coming from a 95 YJ, the quality of materials, the smoothness of the ride, the slick transmission were all an incredible change of scenery. Anyone that has complained about the quality of the ride or transmission needs to go drive a YJ for 5 years then get back to me. But without further...

After driving it for a day, I am already very pleased with the Hard Rock package. I wanted leather and to start with the alpine system, so essentially for the price of those I was able to spend a tiny bit more for the bumpers, the hood, some damn fine floor mats, the fuel filler door, connectivity group and bluetooth. I'm sure there's more to the package I can't remember right now, but it is definitely worth it to me.

I've already got a list of items in order from first to last: Warn 10-S Winch, LED headlights(probably JW speaker), 2 10" NVX subs, headliner/sound deadener throughout the vehicle(NVX brand), new radio (made this myself using a raspberry pi2) & speakers (NVX), tire carrier(self made), 3.5" AEV lift w/ 35's, full length lightbar.

*** loads of money there, but this will be my vehicle for many years to come so I decided when I added something, I wanted to only do it once.

Hope you guys enjoy!

Thanks everyone. After taking it out last night I must say it is awesome.

Took several friends out and we ended up getting pretty lucky.

We were getting some funny looks driving back in through town

No way in hell this will end up a mall crawler, no one needs to worry

They sure will! I got them cleaned and I'm throwing them in a crock pot all day tomorrow for dinner

It's an awesome Jeep, you'll be grinning like an idiot the whole time. Did you get any extra options over the base Hard Rock add on? I just had body color top and fenders added on

I added a few things: 4.10 gears, 430N, Connectivity, painted dual top, headliner... The HR comes with so much to begin with there's not a lot of extras to choose from. I choose Anvil paint color. I kept with the traditional Rubicon styling and kept the fenders black. Will post pics when I get it!

Awesome. I'm ordering some sound deadener soon to make my own headliner and hopefully reduce the Heat as well

I paid way more for this at the dealer but the wife wanted it. Gotta pick your battles. She wanted to get the tow hitch too but I said I can get it for less than half and install it my damn self.

Wouldn't have it any other way

And yes, they were a fantastic dealership. I knew exactly what I wanted and they could tell so they worked with me on it best they could. I would highly recommend them
