just bought the rugged ridge snorkle

I just bought the rugged ridge snorkle for the 2012. who has installed it? was it difficult? any pictures or write ups?

took me about 4 hours, i didnt do a write up but ive seen one on here before.

I have heard it was difficult but never observed the install or done one so I am just parroting what I heard.

I got mine yesterday, tear down begins today. On the difficulty rating, I think tearing down half of the front ends sheetmetal will be the biggest pain. The system itself seems to go on pretty simple. The list of needed tools seems fairly small. Most of us probably have all of it in our garages.

I helped a buddy install one. The directions were shotty but with some guestimation and a dremel we got it installed

Not that I would really want to but with this snorkel I guess folding the windshield down is not an option. That being said think I am going to order this snorkel, I like it.

Has anyone had issues bolting the intake hose to the radiator?

I did...I left the bolts out till one day it annoyed me too much, so after I got home the engine was hot.....I was able to get the bolts in. The plastic being hot seemed to help give it a bit more flex. HTH
