Swapping cases is easier, but it is far cheaper to buy the guts than a whole assembly.

The only major differences I see is that 241OR chain is longer and the drive and driven sprockets are larger.

Doing a little research on this - help me out or add some corrections. The 241-J tcase seems to come from the TJ rubi and I did not find any reference to a newer one. The JK info I found indicates the 241 Command Trac was in the non-rubis and the 241 OR was in the rubis...

Ok, I'm still digging up data on this one fellas.

But this what I've come up with so far...

The NV241OR is completely different beast from the NV241J...however there is NV241 HD that has the 4:1 Ratio (The data plate indicates NV241J). At this time I'm checking on seeing if those two are basically the same, plus the NV241J HD might replacing the NV241OR, but I'm waiting on a confirmation.
