JK Stock Headlights TOO DULL!

I recently bought a JK Willy's. I love the hell out of it, except for the headlights. In town night driving is decent because of all of the street lights. However, when I am camping or driving in the mountains I notice that the headlights are very dim and make the road hard to see. My question is....what are the best headlights to purchase for a wrangler? I am looking to maximize the following: quality, affordability, easy installation, and long lasting/durability. Has anyone had the same thoughts on these stock headlights??

Probably Truck-Lites. I have them in my TJ and I am very happy with them.

JW Speakers are my personal favorite and the the Hella eCode setup from Susquehanna Motorsports if you want halogen.

The search function here will reveal a million threads on this same subject.

Did you check your Headlight aim? In the last month I've helped 3 fellow club members aim the headlights on their brand new Jeeps.
Evidently checking headlight aim is not part of the dealers PDI.

This. I used to think my OEM headlights were awful, then aimed them (actually just lifted the rear another 2" which happened to put them into aim)... they're still nothing to get excited about, but they're far more functional than before and I'm not really motivated to spend the money upgrading.

best 200$ you will spend, pick up some led fogs they are very bright and wide cutoff but i wouldnt rely on led for headlights especially if you have bad winters. if it goes out you are sol, way easier to change a bulb than wait for a replacement headlamp. the hella glass housings make a huge difference over the unsafe oem trash jeep gives us. with the rally harness you can run high wattage bulbs as well, i dont and it is still a huge difference!

I upgraded to JW Speaker LED headlights. I save a few hundred $$ buying them from here. https://www.northridge4x4.com/fits/2...led-headlights

Also, I did the fog light LED conversion on the cheap. I bought these LED replacement bulbs on Amazon for under $20. These are bright white. http://a.co/59THxvd

Here's a video I made of the before and after.

JL Speaker - they are a bit pricey but when you hold them you will get it. Great lighting, amazing construction. The stock lights are so dim they should be illegal.

JW speaker all the way. I fought the price for so long, but northridge has deals on them and scored a pair for less money. As soon as I installed them it was hands down the best mod I've done on any of the keeps I've owned. Few other mods give you as immediate and everyday gratification like these do. Just my $0.02.
