JK seats in a TJ

HEY JK OWNERS!

Can a set of JK seats be made to fit in a TJ?

I haven't looked close enough at a JK to know.

THANKS

Josh

I think they are a bit wider, but I am sure you could get them to work with some modifications. Its all trial and error.

Personally, I would save and get aftermarket seats. Jk seats are terrible. Seats in my old Tj were a ton better. I can't wait until I can put in new seats.

I've been in TJ's (never owned one but my best friend has one) and i think the JK seats are A LOT better. Sturdier + more back support. Only think i don't like is the forward leaning head rest...

i'd ditch the seats in my JK for the factory ones that were in my YJ. i would find some after market seats if you really aren't happy with the ones in your TJ

just my opinion, but I would give anything to have my TJ seats back. The JK seats are not comfortable, the lack of a functional fold and tumble driver seat, headrests that do anything but rest your head and a passenger seat that doesn't fold all the way back make this a pointless modification...

the price you found is probably low for a reason

My guess is you'll need to mock up a new seat rail for them to fit. Maybe a quick measurement is needed to see if they really are wider than the TJ seats and make sure there's not a physical limit to them fitting.

so if anyone else wants to trade some TJ seats for my JK seats feel free. I hate these stupid ugly uncomfortable seats.

The JK seats also dont "fold and tumble" right.

I would go for some mastercraft or bestop seats.

I have bestop seats in my CJ and they are super comfortable
