Holy crap, that platform puts a stain in my shorts just looking at the picture
Is that really as steep as it looks? I'll have to go out there sometime.
I honestly can't believe he made it all the way up, but it makes for great advertisement! There was a white 4 door that tried as well, but not sure if he made it all the way or not.
I doubt anything in the rear would hit because once the rear tires start over the crest it all gets elevated quickly. Now the belly of the longer wheelbase 4dr definitely will be a challenge if the lift and tires aren’t tall enough; not exactly an ideal place to high-center that’s for sure.
Unless my eyes are playing tricks on me that 4dr in the pic can’t move forward another inch because of the drop hitch that is on the Jeep.
Oh yea one more thing, if you look closely at the top of that obstacle it looks to me like it isn’t as sharp of crest as it seems. At the break-over it actually still has a bit more angle to it. It starts down lower than the top of the big *** pipe (can’t remember what they’re called) to lessen the break-over somewhat.
:cheers2:
Also, what's with the guy driving by with the Mexican flag. I thought that was rude in the US to fly a foreign flag only??? My wife had a foreign sticker on her car and I recommended she add the US flag above it or not have anything at all. Thought it was the respectful standard, but maybe I'm wrong - probably just me being too critical.
Yes, but you probably have Alberta plates on your Jeep, so it's rather obvious that you rank as a tourist. Perhaps those guys in the buggy are tourists too. I was just asking out of curiosity, because even the Italian restaurants here fly two flags; some municipalities have a "protocol" in that respect.
Looking at the picture it looks impassable with a longer wheelbase vehicle. Taking a look at the video though, the railing? If you can call it that, exaggerates the breakover angle. Still looks fun!
Yup, pucker factor for the passengers. I think the 4-door would drag on breakover. Looks fun.
