JK MPG Computer

I just traded my 04 for an 07 JK Unlimited 4 Door Rubicon. I am having an issue with the Avg. MPG computer. When I toggle through the options the MPG part is blank and the Miles To Go is stuck on 255. I had the dealer look at it and they said they cold not figure it out. Has anyone had this issue and how do I fix it? It is not a huge deal but it would be nice if it worked. Thanks for the help!

You've stumped me. On '06 does not have the settings for all of this like the '07 and up. If you truly have an '06 Unlimted, it's a stretched 2 DR right? If so, you need to post up in the TJ section. If it's a 4DR, then it's the JK and you are in the right place.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes?

MPG computer

I just picked up a 07 Wrangler 2 dr Sahara with 22000 miles. Exact same problem with MPG computer, among others. I'm scheduling a trip to the dealer this week. See if they can help. Also want to find out about engine power (lack of) and pinging.
Thanks,
Pipewelder

If your dealer can't fix it, find another dealer.

To Pipewelder. The lack of power IS from the lack of power from the minivan engine, and too heavy of JP.

If the battery disconnect doesn't work, then the dealer can (should!) "re-flash" it. It's just a computer glitch, but you'll probably pay big since you're prolly not under warranty

oh, and my 800th post WOOHOO!!
