jk hard top question

What years will an 2008 hard top fit on?
the top is off a 08 4 door

07-08 ONLY.
09-10 has the footman loop relocated on the w/shield header.

Confirming what owtdorz said. Also, I don't know if it makes a difference but the 2010 also has two round knobs that screw into the sound bar/Freedom Top panel. I noticed my friend's 2007 doesn't have them, so there might be compatibility issues there as well.

my 2007 has round knobs that screw into the sound bar. was your friends top aftermarket?

There are a few threads in the F.A.Q. that list the differences between the JK model years. We don't have one for the 2011 yet but all of the other years are represented.

Now that I think about it, the 2007 was purchased used. It could very well have been an aftermarket top. Thanks for double checking.
