Which JK do you have? Rubi or Sport? Your info is not sufficient to answer which t case you have.

I don't have a jk. I am curious how many splines are on the front tcase yoke. Either tcase that comes in the jk

OK, I will try. The Sport came with a NVG (New Venture Gear) 231J - 23 spline input shaft, no options for different input shaft. The Rubi came with a NVG 241OR same spline count and they are interchangeable. You could Google them and find the exact specs as I did.

I found conflicting info when I googled it. Thank you.

I swapped out my NVG 231J with the NVG241OR. I know the input shaft is the same...make sure you distinguish the JK tcase from the earlier (with the same designation) TJ tcase....they have similar numbering but are not the same. There was a typo in my post..it should read 241, not 242.
