JK fighting back

I just wanted to check if I was the only Jeeper that the JK was fighting back for offroading it some.

Got the JK about 4 months ago and ever since I got it from the dealer I have a bleeding left knee. About once every ten times I up on the driver seat, I scratch my left knee over the cheese grater that is the cover for the speaker on the left end side of the dashboard.

Apparently my JK wont go down without a fight !!

Got to lovr my Jeep

PS: Anyone have any suggestions on how to dull the blade of my cheese grater !!

You've got to have really long upper-legs. My knee comes nowhere near the cheese-grater/speaker.

Yeah for real... And make sure to use the lower adjusting lever... It really has a lot to do with your comfort

A nice block of Cheddar strapped to your knee might help!
If nothing else it will give you somethin' to snack on while cruising the trail

Garage
I'm 6'4" and with the seat slid all the way back, my knees don't come close to scraping against the speaker.

This is definitely a new problem. I tend to hit my knee on my KC light switch I installed right above the speaker when I get in the Jeep, but I have never hit my knee while wheeling.

Unless you are over 7 feet tall.......MOVE THE SEAT BACK! THAT'S WHAT THE LITTLE BLACK HANDLE ON THE FRONT OF THE SEAT IS FOR! Glad I could help.

Either that or he is just plain clumsy haha.

Push the seat back, lower the seat heigh with the lever, and recline the back a couple of notches.

Do you have rock rails or side steps or something to step on before stepping inside the Jeep? If not, maybe that is what is wrong with your entry method? I am just throwing ideas out there, not trying to be a butt hole.
