JK colors vs Hummer Colors

So my girlfriend made a frightening observation today, that with the exception of Rescue Green and Jeep green, the JK colors are ALL HUMMER COLORS.
The only hummer color missing is Yellow. Anyone else notice this?
Kinda depressing actually; Like Jeep is trying to compete with hummer rather than vice versa? Maybe by putting out these colors they'll attract the hummer lovers that can't afford hummers.
eerie.

JK colors vs Hummer Colors

Colors are not the only thing. They forgot about horse power also .The 2007 Hummer H3 is pumping out 242hp.The JK is putting out 205hp.

I noticed another distressing similarity between the JK and the Hummer recently. The JK has four tires. The Hummer? You guessed it - FOUR tires as well!

I thought jeeps had five tires ; ).

I wouldn't doubt if the 2WD actually does only have four tires... and a donut.

That is odd if the colors are pretty close like that. They obviously copied a lot of the Hummer styling.

meaningless gripes

First off, Jeeps were available in a variety of colors before Hummer even existed, and it stands to reason that certain vehicles(4x4s, sports cars, luxury vehicles, etc,etc...) will be offered in certain colors because they are condusive to the type of vehicle being marketed.
As far as HP goes, there is less than 1 pound per HP difference between the H3 & the Unlimited Rubi. Neither vehicle is going to burn up any drag strip.
All Wranglers come with a full size spare.
Unless Jeep made the new Wranglers a hover craft with no tires and wings with joy stick steering and a motor that runs on DiLithium Crystals you could conceivably say they copied from any vehicle.
If you like the H3 better by all means buy one, If you like the Jeep better-buy it. And if you like the latest entries from Kia or Hyundai for gods sake please don't come in here comparing them to the new Wranglers.

Maybe I'm the only one who didn't just know off the top of his head what colors Hummers come in, but if I'm not alone, here they are for everyone:

H3-
Black
Birch White
Boulder Grey Metallic
Shadow Green Metallic
Yellow
Superior Blue Metalllic
Victory Red Metallic
Slate Blue Metallic

H2-
Black
Birch White
Pewter Metallic
Slate Blue Metallic
Yellow
Desert Sand Metallic
Twilight Maroon Metallic

So, Jeep and Hummer offer Black, White, and Silver (along with every other vehicle made). It doesn't look like the Hummer blues are very similar to the Wrangler Steel Blue. You can get the H3 in a bright red, and the H2 in a dark red, but not either in both colors, whereas the Wrangler can be had in dark or bright red. The H2 has desert sand which is not unlike Graystone, but is sandier and less silver than Graystone. The H3 green looks fairly similar to Jeep Green.

wow, this is a pointless thread...

FYI the batch of colors on the JK pallet have been on Jeeps since before the JK or are updated/moderized versions of previously offered ones. for instance, Steel Blue was offered well before '01. Infact it should be the same paint code as on my 2001 WJ.

Are we that desparate to relate the new JK to a Hummer that we have to name color similarities?

I just saw a silver Toyota on my way home today.... WHAT DO I DO?!?
