There is actually a recall/TSB out for some consoles to fix the locking issue. I don't know if mine locks or not.

If I had the bones I'd have a Tuffy console, sure it might not be needed, but again this is all contingent on my having an unlimited supply of cash.

I think the underseat lock box is the best bang for the buck for security. Just too much $$ for the center console imo. Maybe get the underseat box ($100ish) and the glovebox door ($150ish). End up with a lot of relatively secure storage for less money??

I have one. Much better than stock. Major pain to install. Replace their hardware with grade 8. The crap they give you will rust if there is fog in the area. Other than hardware, their stuff is top notch. Hope this helps more than other posts.
