JK Cell Phone Mount

Well I finally have my web site up and the first of several products for sale. There are more products coming and will be listed in the weeks to come. In the meantime the Universal Cell Phone Mount for the JKís is ready.

The bracket is CNC Laser cut and bent using a CNC Brake. Pem studs are pressed into the bracket in place of screws. The bracket is powder coated and the nyloc nuts and washers are stainless steel.

A Ram Mount is attached to the bracket and will hold most cell phones. The dimensions for the holder are on the web site as are the instructions for installation.

Any questions you may have you can either send a PM, e-mail, or call. Info is on the web site.

Thanks, John Copitas

The site looks great

Is the cell phone mount adjustable to accomodate various phone sizes?

I look forward to seeing the interior rack! And I almost ordered my antenna mount today, I'll wait to buy from you Keep us posted!

molshove, yes it is adjustable. It will hold flip phones and up to the iPhone in size. Thereís a pic of it on the web site. The phone in the pic is the Omnia 2, which is virtually the same size as an iPhone.

I would love to sell you my antenna mount but if you need one now then I would recommend not waiting.
The next product for sell will be what I call a Dash Accessory Base Mount. Iíve been using the prototype for over three years now but it has a couple of really tricky bends. Itís being worked on with the aid of a CAD program (not mine) and should be going into production soon. After that it will be the antenna mount.

It mounts to the trim panel that is under the steering column on the right side, between the ignition key and center dash console. You can see it on the web site along with detailed instructions. Two small holes (17/64) are required to mount it.

It will fit only the JK Wranglers. What is an Evo 4g anyway? I know of Jeeps only.

Looks great... but when I measure my BB Tour, roughly 60.1 or .2mm it's too wide...

he's not referring to the Evo IV (which was never sold in the US) but the HTC Evo 4G cellphone from Sprint. If the iPhone is the limit to the size it can hold, I'm guessing not.

^^^ Oh, ok. There are so many models/names for cell phones that itís impossible to know them all. Seems like every two minutes thereís a new phone to be had.

Sorry to hear that. Ram does make a larger universal cradle but it wonít fit in the space where my mount is located. My next mount will be for hand held GPS units like the Garmin 60 Series and other makes of that size plus it will also accept the larger cell phone cradles too. If you have the SPOT Satellite GPS Messenger, generation 1 or 2, there are mounts for it also.

It will mount on top of the dash but will not block any view out the front windshield. Also there are no holes to drill yet it still bolts to the Jeep.

Whatís really nice about the cell phone mount that is available now is that it is just about unnoticeable where it is mounted. No clutter on your dash.
