JK Bumper Photos

Last night some bimbo decided to brake checked me, FAIL! To my surprise she admitted to her reckless driving, and I should be getting a check soon from her insurance company! Time to add some steel!

Post a pic and the name of your bumper(s)! Really just looking for something simple to create havoc with! Also, hopefully I end up with one that accommodates for the stock fogs. I'm sure there is another link on a forum somewhere, but that would be greatly appreciated as well!

Tons of examples here - but I like the looks and features of this JCR.
Stock Fogs fit very well with NO modification to factory harness.
I did just order some D2 LEDs and and mounting kit to replace the factory fogs

That's the Rugged Ridge XHD Modular bumper with the Warn PowerPlant HP winch. The XHD modular bumper makes for a good base and can be easily customized, but if I'm honest there are better options. The reason I got the XHD was because it was a great price, kept the factory fogs, and can be added onto later as the budget allows. I don't regret my purchase!

I love my AEV bumpers, and FWIW... I got rear ended a few weeks back and the civic left a lil paint paint on my bumper. The civic itself folded up its hood, scattered its front bumper and shattered its headlights.

So if you're looking for crash-worthy bumpers with factory fit and finish, go AEV.

Agreed. The AEV bumper looks stellar. If money is no issue, go with AEV front and rear.

Hell yes, that is sick! Really like the look. Not too worried about winching capabilities. I just want to crush cars, lmao.

AEV is BA as well! Tearing up civic's, "you da man!" Really like how the D-links are placed, but that's a custom job and not part of the bumper right? I'll have to look into prices on these both.

Thanks fellas! GO CATS

I like the AEV bumper. It seems a little silly to put D ring shackles on the front though. We all know that Jeeps never need pulled out!

JEEP - The original "search engine".

Ask me why you should not buy anything from 4 Wheel Online

I guess I'm guilty of jumping on the bandwagon here ... AEV makes a solid bumper: quality. I also like LoD, but I don't know if you're looking to retain the factory fogs or mount a winch at some point?

Go CATS? You guys need to get a hockey team and then we'll know you're legit. Basketball .... please. just playing

AEV is growing on me fast. Is it just the picture and lift, or does it have a higher profile than the JCR???

If you look at the AEV bumper in relation to the grill you'll see it does ride higher than stock and most aftermarket bumpers. The full width ends subtly sweep up to nearly meet the fenders, so approach angle is still as good as most stubbies.

...and to answer your previous question: The D-rings shown in the pic are mounted in the locations provided on the AEV bumper, no custom work needed.

...and back to crashes: AEV's front bumper is the only bumper to pass D/C front end collision testing, which is why it is allowed to be a standard part on the COD MW3 Edition JKs.

Most aftermarket bumpers look like they're hanging off the front of a JK.

...or like Bubba's boot lip in Forrest Gump. "Don't get that thing caught in a trip wire."
