It would look good with your deck lid!
The idea I have that maybe you would want to develop is to make a deck lid that uses rear half doors with the topper going all the way to the back of the front seats.
What do you think?
Man Jim, I know everyone is posting how great that rack is, but seriously it really is. You should put that down on paper and submit it for a patent. Go to http://www.uspto.gov/ to get the application. The reason why this is SOOO important is any company that comes on here and sees it can copy it and patent it first and then you'd be SOL! Once you get the patnet then all you have to do is start sending copies of the blueprint and a copy of the patent off to manufacturers with a copy of this post showing how many people are inerested in it. When one of them contacts you then the hard part starts, deciding on a price. Remember, they have to make money too. So you have to come up with a price that will allow both of you to make some. Don't wait, the patent is free to get and you don't need a lawyer. Good luck!
Oh and hate the fact it's 2WD (but don't feel bad I sold my jeep so I 1 uped you), but I love what you've done to the Jeep. It looks great.
Jim - "WE" are still waiting on you to post the sound clip of your new muff...
I know, I know!
I got out the video camera last week and charged it up
It was pouring down rain so I decided to wait until it cleared up.
Then I forgot all about it, Again!
I'll see what I can do tomorrow morning, really I will
I just wanted to jump in and say I am lusting over your rack... Roof rack :P
Man I wish those were being produced so I could buy one! My gripe with racks on the market now is they all need to come off to get the soft top down, but it looks like yours solves this problem. If patents weren't so incredibly expensive, I would suggest getting one and perhaps selling it to a manufacturer.
