I started a build thread about 8 or 9 months ago, but I got busy with school and life. I am starting a new one.

Here she is off the lot and then again going up Left Hand Canyon in Boulder, CO.

Love the build brother. More black Jeeps :2thumbsup:

ACE is a pretty good company to be a "sponsored" Jeep. I am only acouple parts away from being a "unsponsored" Jeep/moving catalog for JCR (ahem hint hint JCR)

Sucks your had such bad experience with OR-FAB, so far so good there for me but I really haven't had to have them fix any actual problems.

Im jealous of your beadlocks but like Spyder not the style lol. How do the Racelines balance?

Looks like I am going to have to replace a rear axle shaft. Thanks Superior for standing behind your product...oh wait, you aren't even in business any more?! :rantscream:
Man, that blows. What did you do to it!? Ol Blue is doing great, pretty much been maintenance free! Nothing new

That is good. I am not sure. One of my outings? I have had a squeak in the right rear for some time. It would come and go, but it has gotten worse. We looked at it this weekend and took the rotor off. There was a lot of debris inside, and some fresh metal shavings. We cleaned it and was inspecting when I discovered there is a lot of play. I can pull the axle out about 1/2-3/4 of an inch. It isn't leaking, so the seal is still good. It could be just the bearing, but it is doubtful at this point. I want to pull it tomorrow, but we will see what is going on this weekend. I have spare bearings and seals.

Also, I found the reason my ABS light is on - ANOTHER broken wheel speed sensor. The dealership didn't ensure that my wheel studs were threaded in when they rotated my wheels. One of the studs clipped and broke the sensor. I told them to ensure that before putting the wheel back on. I will be going to talk with them about this. The guy even wrote it on the worksheet.
