Jeep won't move in gear

Had a new clutch put in a few months ago and have had absolutely no problems with it but today it just does not want to move. I can shift into gear, 1st, reverse goes into gear as smooth as always but it will not move an inch. Any advice on what this could be would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

**** happens. I learned a long time ago working on aircraft to check the simple things first. Switchology is often the fix for squawks.

I had a feeling that wasn't the answer. Your post didn't sound like you had solved it.

It is NOT in neutral, it is in 2wd, I did try shifting to 4wd to see if it did anything. It did not. I can put it in gear and let the clutch out but it does not move. If I try to push the Jeep by hand it does not move so it's not neutral. Any addl suggestions would be great, thanks!

Does the engine change tone or struggle when letting the clutch out?

No, there is no difference in the engine at all, I can let the clutch pedal all the way out and nothing changes in the engine where as before of course it would stall if I did not apply gas.

with the engine running and the clutch NOT pressed will it go in gear? Have you looked at the t-case to make sure the shifter is connected?

Sounds to me that you got a botched clutch.

Ok, so on JKs, is the T-case shifter electronic or manual? Manual, correct?

Could something be wrong with the shifter that despite the lever being in 2wd, the actual transfer case is in neutral?

Although, you said you pushed it and it would not move, correct? Did it move and then stop after like 1" like it was in gear?

Yes, it moved and stopped like it was in gear.
