Prepping the tub for Line X. This was the worst part of the job but with some good beer it wasnt that bad.

Installed a sweet custom seat to load her up on the trailer.

Al ready to go!

The tub came out great! Empire Line-X did a great job!

Then it was time to go snag the wheels. Off to Raceline we went. Id love to have a few minutes alone in this warehouse HAHA

Tried to be economical and well 5 wheels just barely fit in the mustang hahaha

Shane at Genesis sent me the G screen and we did an install video and the mic wasn't working so Ill remove it and re-shoot it so you guys can see the greatness that is the G-Screen.

Well after doing some measuring I was going to have a huge challenge of making all my steering work with the Artec arms and factory ford knuckles. The Ford OEM knuckles mount the tie rod higher than the chevrolet ones. So to solve this issue We decided to go with Reid Racing Ford HD knuckles. The Ford versions are based on the stronger Chevy casting but they use the lower Chevy style steering arm. This should put us right where we need to keep the geometry we have now and allow us to double shear the entire steering linkage. Another great thing is that the Reids have a 5th threaded hole to help beef up the Hi steer arm mounting strength.

Brown Santa brought some more parts. Time to get busy.

If you like actually hearing your music while your driving on the freeway with the top off Crawl tunes is where you need to look.

The new rugged ridge hood made it as well along with their Billet hood latches.

Will you install any LED bar's because they seem to really light up the JK platform.

Got some of the key pieces from Artec Industries

Now I can tear in to the front axle.

Artec quart crates will keep our oil secure on the trail.

Took the hi steer arms and knuckles over to the machine shop last night. Got the knuckles bored to accept the 3/4 bolt as well as had the hole in the arms bored. Double shear for the steering is a win win.
