Jeep Islander questions

I was looking into a jeep islander. I know they are rare and only 2500 were made. I was wondering what the gearing and everything looked like on these? It is a 2010 that I am looking at with rubicon wheels and tires. Also if you guys have any pics of them lifted post them up please! can't wait to see some. thanks for the help.

My wife has a 2010 Islander. She loves it, and has no regrets trading in her Lexus for the Jeep. Not sure if all Islanders have the same gearing, hers has the 3.73 gears. We put a 2.5" lift and 33" Trail Grapplers on it. It is not overpowered by any means, but it does ok. We debadged the exterior and plastidipped the hinges and it made a huge difference in appearance breaking up all the blue. Since this photo we have added a blackout hood decal and it looks awesome now.

Rare? Really? We have a 1990 Islander that we recently purchased to trailer behind our RV. Needs some TLC but we love it!

That looks just like the one I bought new in 1990, outside of Philly. Mine was a 4cyl. Great Jeep !

Just picked up an islander...been out of the jeep thing for a few years. Feels good to be back. 3.73 gears and automatic with mud terrain tires. Just ordered up the dynomax rear dual exhaust. Should be here this week.
