Best of luck with it! You deserve it after your last Jeep experience Bro.
Oh man, I can't tell you how much I miss the steering wheel controls, we have them on our Jetta and I'm always jabbing at the wheel to turn it up or down....

I may just be looking at this wrong or not know what I'm talking about but are those KM1s on the new Rubi? I thought the new Rubicons came with KM2s?

BTW, I'm of the opinion that a Jeep should only have two doors. Your results may vary.

Looks great! I don't think I'd ever want to watch my Sahara go up in flames, but looks like everything worked out for you.

I agree with Thunderfoot, love the 2D Wrangler.

Thanks all, sorry took so long to get back.

Ya'll some funny people lol..Phoenix...flame red. Love it

Yea, what happened did suck big time. I never thought Id ever have a vehicle go up in flames. Ive seen it on the sides of roads and heard about them, but figured it was something stupid someone did with a cigarette or severe wiring issues etc.... Frikkin leaves! WTF? Apparently my bro in-law says this isnt that uncommon. I never heard of it.

My wife actually embarrassed me in front of the Jeep salesperson:

Me as I am test driving the new Jeep: "Yea I almost cried when I was watching flames come out of my Jeep"
My wife: "Uh when you were on the phone with me you WERE crying."

Just glad my son wasnt IN the Jeep when it happened (or any of the kids/wife), and that it wasnt in my garage at home.

But...Ill have to pay some gap (NOW I know what that is! lol) which is still TBD, and I increased monthly payment a little, but after that fire I was like, might as well just get a Rubi in my depression. Frankly to make what I had in the fire Jeep what I wanted was going to cost me $4k in lifts, tires, rims etc. SO I justified (in my head) that the extra few bucks for Rubi wasnt THAT much more anyway.

I like the interior too, still looks Jeepish. It has some creature comforts that Im kinda diggin. I didnt get the nav (My $100 Garmin works fiiiine) or heated seats etc.

And...anyone know definitively if my 2010 softtop (sunrider from Mopar...dealer installed) will fit on the new Rubi?

Happy Jeeping
Bill

Well, with the fire and all I can't really blame you for not wanting the heated seats.

(But they do feel good in the winter)

Want to hear something ironic? We woke up this morning to a 58 degree home. Our furnace **** out overnight. Frikkin thing isnt that old.

So I had a Jeep that was on fire, and one week later I have a furnace that wont fire.
