I ended up getting a sweet deal on 2012 rubicon unlimited springs and shocks that had max tow package and hardtop. Hardware comes apart so easy when they are new. Swapped out the springs and shocks the next day after picking it up gained 3/4" in the front and 1/2" in the rear leveled the jeep out.

The 2013 wheels are starting to grow on me — looks sharp with the darker colors! Good luck with the build, mate!

Thanks for your service, really like what you've done to your Jeep so far. Yeah, the new wheels are growing on me too.

Great minds think alike, but so do serial killers. Thanks.

Looks real nice. Do you plan on building this Jeep similar to your TJ?

kind of I dont want to put the large lift on it. I dont want to start eatting up the junk ball joints early. I may just get a little boost thats all, I will be staying with the 32s for a while. I have the winch and bumper ready to install also my cb. I just love these jk's. I have had a J-20, comanche, yj, tj and now this I love it!

Yeah I understand, plus all the money it takes as you go higher. The main problem with the Unlimited besides lack of tight maneuvering is the break-over angle. It was a must for me to lift my Jeep in order to go the places I like to go. Did you keep the winch from your TJ?

No I got a engo 10k syn rope winch with a eautogrilles led bumper. should look very shape with the leds as daytime runners. I just like trail riding nothing to crazy maybe some lite rock stuff. my jeep sits right at the height of my dads 06 rubicon with 2"bb.

Those wheels are for going off road. Not for cruising town with over gizzed tires.

I think everyone on the forum is aware by now of your thoughts on the new wheels. Now, let it rest! Just keep crawling those mall parking lots and shooting pictures of your freshly waxed jeep parked in the garage.

rubicon1000, sorry for the offtopic post. Love your jeep and thanks for your service.

I agree with this. At first I hated them and now the more and more I look at them I think they are starting to grow on me.

Is that the Jeep that I always see on here that's gecko green with black wheels on a flat street but the camera is tilted to make it look like it's actually doing something other then driving on flat roads?

[Back on topic]

Coming along nicely and thank you for serving!
