Indicator Lights After Lift

Thursday, I lifted my Jeep with a 2.5" suspension lift. A couple indicator lights came on Saturday, went off, then came back on today. The Electronic Stability Control malfunction light and the Electronic Stability Program/Brake Assist System warning light.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should be looking for? Everything *appeared* to be installed soundly.

The most common cause of this is the steering wheel not being centered.
The other possibility is that one of the censor wires got pulled when the axles were dropped.

Thanks. We did center the steering wheel, but it is off center again. So we must not have centered it good enough.

I'll check that tomorrow.

Thanks again!

Sometimes it takes a few try's to get it right!
Even a quarter turn will move the wheel a significant amount.
Good luck and show us some pictures!

Not sure if you used the Procal after the lift, but it does have a setting to check the steering alignment once you adjust it.

Nope, sure didn't. My Superchips arrives today, though, but I don't see where the dead center steering wheel is listed. Do you know if it has it?

I dont think the superchip has a steering wheel centering feature. Just the procal does.

Even with the ProCal you still might have to do it again. I did.
