Hi JK,

What are the realistic build times for a Sahara 4dr 4x4 with the hard top. I have heard anywhere between 4 and 12 weeks. I also heard to get my order in before the new year because the factory will not be accepting anymore order due to backlog.

Thanks

Around here, the E85 is more expensive. I know the economy using E85 is worse.

And why would you want to use it anyway? It ends up using more fossil fuels just to grow that corn.

To artificially support useless large scale agriculture in the midwest, provide domestic automakers with a loophole around fuel consumption requirements and to get those crooked senators reelected so they can wage more wars for oil, why else?

Hello,
Not sure if this is the proper place for this question but...
Any more info about the TrailHawk concept?
Is it going to finally close the XJ gap? (solid axels and permanent hard top, 2 door and 4 door?)
Will it be ready for Detroit?
Will it come to Toronto?
Hope they're planning to give it one of those newfangled Cummins Diesel.
I'm asking because, the only thing keeping me out of the JK right now is the Engine. I want a clean or nearly clean buring engine. I'm almost temped to send one to AEV to have a Diesel put in it. Once I've replaced my XJ as a DD, I'm taking my XJ and turning it into a dedicated Trail Rig.
Thank you.
Cheers!
Jack.

You might not do much on the tech side, but if possible, can you please shed some light on this for me:

Yeah that sounds about right. As far as no new orders for the new year I've heard things about that. We are seriously backed up on orders currently. I'll try to find out from scheduling what is factual data.

JLH: Not sure about E85 engines, don't think that is on the list any time soon. Probably a while before we see some of these Mercedes engines that will accept alternative fuels trickled into Jeeps.

Jack's Jeep: I don't work really with any conceptual stuff. Don't really have any information on that stuff sorry.

Diesel: I haven't clicked your link yet I'll check it out after I post this

Rookie: Not sure about the half doors at the moment. I haven't heard anything in the immediate future.
