I finally joined the 35" club..weird thing though

My tires were delivered today mounted and balanced on my new rims. Installed them when I got home in pouring rain and went for a ride. My low tire pressure light didn't come on like I expected. Could their be TPM in these?

Well that was nice of whoever you bought them from to include those for free without telling you. :-)

How long was the ride? Go out for at least a half hour or so and then report back. Just curious, they take a lil while to "talk" or "not talk" back and forth.

Nice looking Jeep! Thanks for sharing the picture. That reminds me of my old 95 YJ I had in college. Whitewalls out - Looks good!
Here is a pic of my 95 yj on 33's with whitewalls out and black steelies. I still miss that Jeep...

Tires came delivered mounted and balanced and the white was facing out even though I wanted them black out. I figured I would see if it grew on me before paying money for the local place to swap them for me. Nice old YJ. I had an 89 YJ.

It'll come on soon enough, don't worry!

The TPMS is pretty strange, it can take several hours of driving time before it warns you that it's not reading the sensors. I doubt someone put them in for free, they're $45 each.

LOL, I agree. It had me scratching my head though at first. I need to get a procal anyway so when it comes on I can shut it off.

Since 07 didn't have TPMS in all models and being that it is an 08 X you may not have the TPMS activated. Do you know if it actually worked with the old tires?
